Balance

I finally feel like I have found a sense of balance in my life. When I wasn't working at all about a year ago, I started becoming lazy. The problem I had was there wasn't any urgency to get out of bed, so I just felt like I could stay there forever. Then from March through July we were very busy at work and I was very stressed out. I felt like I didn't have time for anything or anybody. When I am stressed out, nothing gets done at home, I don't work out, and I don't talk a lot. For the past six weeks, Keely has been here and I have been working part-time. This is my balance. I love it because I have to get up in the morning because Keely wakes me up. I have started getting some work from home and I still have to work in a "professional" environment and be around people 3 days a week. I even started working out again because I can actually get on a schedule to spend time in the gym a few days a week. But unfortunately, it all ends Labor Day weekend when Keely goes to her new home and I go back to working full time. I am excited for Keely because she is going to have a wonderful home, but it will be sad to see her leave.

I finally got to have my photo shoot with Keely today. I couldn't take pictures last Thursday because our air conditioning decided to go out. So I spent the day figuring out when the people would arrive to fix it and making sure the dogs had cold air and water.

I have been spending a lot of time sketching out ideas lately and this is why you see so many pictures of Keely in costumes. I am going to start my own greeting card line! I am not mentioning what they are about (well, obviously you can get an idea), but I don't want anyone to steal my ideas, so I am not even posting the best images.

Keely is now 6 1/2 weeks old and growing at a rapid pace. She is going outside to potty and all she wants to do is play, play, play! Her little personality is shining through and she is a very happy girl just like her momma.

I can't imagine sending her off to another family after you've gotten attached to her. I'm sure that will be hard! She is soo cute! Truman would NEVER let something stay on his head that long!
